Why do people drift apart?
even tho they know that this decision isn’t smart,
to hurt someone’s sentiments, feelings or their heart,
when they know the importance of their part.

Ahh! the blissful moments are scrapped away,
just like a strong gush of wind, sway,
we got closer to each other in April and May,
all of this is just a Mayday.

Those weird laughs on weird jokes,
was the biggest reason of us being folks,
the talks we had on burgers and cokes,
Carried all of my hopes.

The days we didn’t meet,
the moment that we didn’t eat,
all I wanted was you to sit next to my seat,
and now our relationship is like a plain blank sheet.

What was the miscommunication we had?
was it your mum who found out about us or your dad?
you were the only person on this battlefield, my comrade,
was our relationship actually this bad?

We were the ones people looked up to,
none of the others just us, the two,
I started to believe that day by day our bond grew,
but all of my expectations just flew.

Do you remember the day we met?
I was in my worst condition dripping with sweat,
we had to perform together as a duet,
glancing through the lyrics of “ALL OF ME” from my handset,

What happened to us?
why have created such a big fuss?
All I want is a minute to discuss,
on what has happened to us?

Everyone has their ups and downs,
I wanna meet you and be with you in those playgrounds,
